STATUS OF MEDAUSTRON TODAY

EBG MedAustron since April 2007 is commissioned with the construction of MedAustron facility. The design and building of the particle accelerator facility is being supplied in cooperation with CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research). The task of the draft and submission schedule was handed over to a general planner in May 2008. After completion of the submission schedule, the building project is to undergo an environment compatibility test (UVP process). Once the official approval of the project has been given the construction can begin (hopefully at the beginning of 2011). 

The trial operation is planned to begin in 2013.
